Tim DeMuth 

Artist

Tim DeMuth currently lives in San Diego, California; obtaining his MFA in art from San Diego State University. He holds a BFA in furniture design from Maine College of Art as well as a degree in marine carpentry from Seattle Central College. . His work explores the idea of changing and reinterpreting already familiar forms by challenging what can be done with the material. With an understanding of traditions in building furniture, as well as boatbuilding techniques, he is constantly looking to find a harmonious balance of the two skill sets in his work.
